Dr Mogale qualified with Bachelor of Arts degree and BA Honours degree at the University of the North. He left South Africa to study in Britain, where he sat for a Masters Degree in Science at the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies. In 1995, Dr Mogale obtained his Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs where he majored in various subjects covering economics, social development as well as urban and regional planning. At present, Dr Mogale serves as a senior lecturer and programme manager in the Faculty of Management at the Witwatersrand Graduate School of Public & Development Management.
